This is a nice community for care. We like the cleanliness of the community. The menu is nice and a good variety of meals. We do wish that they had phones in the room so that I can call. She is able to have cable and we find that helpful. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

I had to put my husband into a Respite facility while I traveled out of town. This is a new facility and has the feel of a lodge. There is no TV in the bedroom because they encourage the residents to socialize with other residents or staff. All rooms are wired for TV if necessary, but this works really well. When I got back in town I immediately stopped by to let my husband know I was back, and there was a large group of residents around a big table having a pizza party. There are a lot of areas for groups or family to sit around a TV or a cozy area by the fireplace or game tables. I can't say enough about this facility.

Beautiful place, nice staff, a great place to start. We think we've found a perfect place for mom.

A great place and a very beautiful place I think my husband will be a lot happier since he is there...They have a great staff and care about the people living there...If you are looking for a place for your loved one this is the place..Check it out you will be very pleased.

Renew Saddle Rock is a beautiful place in a beautiful location. They were much more expensive than we could afford, but I think that is because they handle more levels of care.

I really enjoy living here. Most people are very friendly I have many friends. I really appreciate [name removed] the new activity director. Because of her there are many activities to choose from. As the only vegetarian here I understand that I met provide protein.

People are friendly and perusable. Always something to do it you want to be kept busy. They have a van and can take you shopping or to the doctors or other appointments you may have. They will plan days for you if busy it your thing to do.

Good quality care. Communication re billing, special requests are a bit of an issue. Activities not impressive. I would recommend Truewood by Merrill Scottsdale to others looking.

Very accommodating with move in process. Spent extra time getting to know my sister upon move in to assist with her needs. Very flexible and cooperative with a couple of special requests.

What we like most about Truewood by Merrill is the overall friendliness of the people, the relaxed environment and the good food. Also the people seem to care. We have no significant complaints at all. We would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

The people are very welcoming, and my Dad is very pleased with the service and location. The facility just needs some updating on carpet and painting.

We've been very happy. It has been hard with Covid, but overall we're very happy with it. The people are very friendly. The community is a good size, not too big and not too small. Compared to other facilities I've been to, it feels more like apartments rather than a hospital type setting. And it's very convenient for our family.

The care takers at Peregrine are excellent. They truly care about the residents. Activities for the residents are mixed to include mental, social, and physical challenges - a good balance. Although the sales person said that Comcast was available for the residents, it still has not been installed and this has been a disappointment. There has been some turnover of staff that is disconcerting as well. Peregrine is very good at including family members in activities. It would be good if they had a standard meeting with individual families at least quarterly to review what is going on.

The facility is lovely. There has been a huge turnover of staff since new ownership so I cannot comment further on most staff. However, the facility is currently under construction and there is a lot of noise and inconvenience to the residents.

I toured this community, our tour guide was very nice. I just wasn't that impressed with the facility. From my own research, I saw that they had changed ownership 3 times in the last two years or so.

The tour at this community was nice but we just knew that this community was not thee right fit for my loved one at the time. They gave me all of the information that I needed and answered all of my questions.

They recently have lost the Executive Director, Head Nurse, and some other staff. They have a calendar of events and they aren't doing some of the activities listed on the calendar. There is a TV for church services on Sunday, but my loved one has never been taken down for this. I have asked repeatedly for this to be done. I would say not to go there. I am going to start to look for a new community for my loved one. They ended up bringing my loved one to another area of the community. I've never received a letter from the new Executive Director letting me know that they are there. My loved one called me, and they don't feel safe anymore. The residents on the memory care floor has been allowed to wonder around. One of the residents came and touched a family member during a visit with our loved one. My family member has even asked for privacy and the residents just sit down during the visit. Before the Executive Director left, it was much better with the service. I had a direct contact with a nurse. Now the staff won't communicate with me at all. As a follow up after my meeting with the Executive Director, she informed me that they will be hiring more staff. The Vice President spoke to me about a family member with the residents being to close. He let me know that this isn't supposed to be occurring. He put me at ease with all my concerns, and is currently interviewing for a Wellness Director. The Vice President is going to assign a Care Coordinator to my loved one to assist with any concerns and provide feedback to this Coordinator.

They do not accept pets. Cost was reasonable though.

We didn't like them at all. We didn't like anything about them. The residents are all crammed in these little rooms in a circle around the staff. We didn't think it was clean, the staff was not friendly or helpful. We just were not impressed at all with any of it. It was something we could afforded through Medicaid but it not a place I would consider for my mom.
